Hammond Power Solutions’ HPS Fusion General Purpose Enclosed Transformers are cost effective solutions ideally suited for indoor single-phase, general purpose industrial and light loads.
Fusion transformers are designed specifically for general purpose enclosed applications used to a supply voltage to match a load requirement, supplying motor control circuits, signal and alarm systems, industrial light, circuit isolation and HVAC applications.
The HPS Fusion is enclosed in a NEMA Type 1 enclosure fitted with four mounting slots and two keyhole slots for simple mounting and installation. Primary and secondary wiring compartments are easily accessible through removable covers. For transformers power rated for 3000 VA, connections are secured with molded terminal blocks. For transformers rated above 3000 VA, the system is wired via coil face terminations.
HPS Fusion transformers are available among ten different standard voltage groups, up to 600 V. Power ratings range from 50 to 5000 VA.
With a bolted core construction, copper wound coils with high dielectric strength insulation and the rugged Type 1 enclosure ensure long-term mechanical reliability. All HPS Fusion core and coils are Vacuum Impregnated with Polyester Resin and over cured to reduce noise.
Superior insulating materials allow 95°C temperature rise for transformers rated up to 1500 VA (130°C insulation class B), and 130°C temperature rise for transformers rated up to 5000 VA (180°C insulation class F). Temperature rise is based on 25°C ambient temperature conditions.
HPS Fusion transformers are UL Listed and CSA Certified for use in the US and Canada, CE Marked, RoHS Compliant, and meet NEMA standards.
All units are supplied with primary and secondary voltage links, ground screws, feature four wiring and four accessory knockouts, and may include an optional panel mount fuse holder.
